Any answers on this? Just curious.

You adjust the volume on your headset whilst it is giving directions. It's not dangerous if you do it before you set off - or even whilst riding. You do the same with the music, adjust it whilst playing. Effectively you can have two different volumes, one for each device.

If your mount is wired to a switched live circuit - the satnav will start up when you turn on the ignition - then the contacts will be 'dead' when the ignition is off, so not a problem. If permanently live, then I guess there may well be a problem.

Once again sheer stupidity by TomTom! Why is there not an option key for updating via wifi or PC and use MyDrive? Like many users in the UK I'm lucky if I get 10Mb/sec!

Unfortunately I can't help you but can advise that my TT400 connected without issue to my Samsung Galaxy S9. I've not turned anything off on the phone for this.

Weird. The time shows in that status screen on my 400. I notice that my application version is the same - except for the last three numbers: .311 I wonder if it's an American thing?

As would we all. :slight_frown:

From the reports it really seems to have the same problems as the 400/410.

And still no info on what V17.200 has 'fixed'. :@

Has someone got a copy of this thread - just in case? :(
