Hi Chris, It would be great if we could add an entire clip to the timeline, and cut it and delete sections as needed :)

They know of the issue and are working on a fix is the official response at the moment. Until they sort it, nothing much you can do.

The only other method, would be to record audio separate to the tomtom, and sync it during editing. Less than ideal but all you can do until we have a proper solution.

I think if they did a firmware update that lets you manually adjust the gain maybe that would help? I dont understand why it sounds worse with the visor down also.

Hi Chris, yes the sportsmyk does get rid of alot of wind noise, and the engine sounds good it's the voice audio that suffers, especially when the visor is down, it echoes alot. Please keep us updated.

I wouldn't bother with the sportsmyk, even though its £70 and a great quality mic, it's the TomTom that is the issue :( tested it with mine, video review below. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nOPJvZGFny8

Hi guys, I've decided to bite the bullet and buy the MyMyk SportMyk. I was told by TomTom they would issue me a refund if I wanted to, as it is not fit for purpose. So if this doesn't work, i think il have to give up :( It's a shame because I really like the bandit's concept compared to GoPro but I really need the MIC…

Very in depth investigation! Hopefully TomTom will give us some better direction or at least release a MIC of their own that works properly like Drift do for their cameras.

Was considering give the MyMyk SportsMyk a go: http://www.mymyk.com/index.php/sportsmyk/ It gets good review when used with a gopro, its designed to be used for action cams to reduce wind noise, anyone given it ago?

Anyone come up with any better solution? I am thinking of trying the Sena 20S with it, but not sure how I would connect it to the bandit and have it record the voice?

Hi, I am having the same audio issues, using an external mic with the bandit simply creates loads of buzzing, wind noise and distortion and I cannot hear my voice well at all within the helmet. TomTom please can you sort out an idea?
