Hi, Vikram. It was not the map size or available space that was the problem. I am pretty sure it was a glitch in the software. Tackling the problem in a different way - see my post above - finally resulted in clean update downloads and removal of duplicate maps from my system. Also, at last, My Drive Connect and my GO 6000…

The 32GB SD card already had data written to it so there should not have been a hitch due to available capacity. I shall have a look at the link you provided. BTW My last bike was a 2012 YamFaz8 ABS. Don't ride now, gave up at 82 three years after a nasty crash at Cadwell. For me it was Supersports bikes really, the Yam…

No, I had already tried all the usual "fixes". This problem has been ongoing for several weeks. I think I have now resolved the problem but have no idea what was actually wrong. I suspect a software glitch somewhere as tackling the problem a different way seems to have effected some sort of cure. I can now switch between…

Update to my query, above. Odd. I tried downloading the two smaller updates (Voice and Speed cameras) and the downloads went without a hitch. When I checked "Content" the big download for "Europe without buildings" had disappeared and my device was shown as "Up to date". However looking at the maps I have installed there…

Hello, Willy. The country is set to the United Kingdom (English). There is no other option to set the language that I can see. The display, as in post above, is a mixture of English and Dutch. Ken.

Hi, Willy. Download updates on my computer is 'Checked'.

Hi again, Willy. Formatted the new card on my computer as you suggested. Fitted it into the GO 6000. Card was recognised and I was asked to select usage as 'Routes' or 'Maps'. Chose 'Maps'. My GO 6000 then re-formatted the card - again. Went into 'Content' selected a new map & install. A few minutes later the download…

Hi, Willy. Re-format of the 32 GB SD card started off with the message "There is a problem with this disk". Suggested "Scan disk" ( I opted to format anyway) and it, apparently, went without a hitch, a full FAT32 format. I shall try it in the sat-nav tomorrow. Watch this space.

Will try later - SWMBO has diverted me to other activities. I deleted one of the big files from the old card and have freed up a lot of space so all is not lost. I will come back later when I have tried the computer re-format. I shall do a full format, not a quick one. Thanks for your help so far.

I have just put the old SD back in and it shows it as virtually full. Looking at "My Content" it lists out the contents of both internal memory and SDcard. I tried another, new, 32 GB Micro SD and get the same results as with the other (new) one. Kingston have confirmed that the two 32 GB SD cards they supplied are correct…

Hi, Willy. I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting. I have tried (twice) resetting the device. Two re-installs of My Drive Connect. Unfortunately I cannot try on another computer but everything was fine until I installed the new memory card. The card is shown in the device and is also shown up correctly - as empty - in…

Correction and update to original post;- I have just fitted a 32 GB SD card to my Go 6000 as the internal memory was full and the SD card fitted was too small for the download I wanted. (There was confusion over the model number) The new card formatted with no problems it shows up in My Drive Connect and also on the device…

If you are stuck in night mode this may help; Tap Menu (4 dots) and there is a Moon icon bottom Right where you can turn Night Display Off or ON. This will work even if you have the option in Display turned Off as the default and is where I change mine if I need to as if you Tap menu then Tap the Night Icon the screen goes…

It sounds as though you are switched into night vision mode.

Thank you. I have the device running without the SD card and I appear to have the Europe with benelux buildings v. 1075.11008 installed.
