Go to Trustpilot and see what Tom Tom thinks of customer service. 90% - (900) of people can't be wrong. For years. They don't want to deal with pesky customers with broken out of the box products, just give us your money and go away. Once I get my refund processed for my broken Tom Tom I will check out Garmin and buy that.…

If you can actually believe this - they sell products that they know may not work. And have been since 2019. I have been fighting them for 2 months of a 3 month old unit now because I have no active sim and 'support' (that's a good one) shrug and say it will be fixed when it is fixed. No timescale. Meanwhile on here there…
-
Just the same loop you get stuck in with webchat - you submit your email, you get your support number, you get fobbed off as having no problem, irrespective that their own staff have admitted that the sims have been deactivated on the server side. Truly appalling and award winningly bad customer non-service. Before this I…

Because their traffic products are faulty and it is something to do with the sim card in them. It gets disconnected and you are left with a GPS with no services. You as the user have done nothing and you as the user can do nothing. The best you can hope for is a youtube video that doesn't help you and complete…

Oops, we are having trouble accessing Tom Tom services. Please try again later.

This issue has been flagged twice with Tom Tom webchat for 3 weeks and is 'going to be fixed with a 'technical fix' by the end of the day'. Three weeks later. Twice. At least this post admits that the subscriptions for an unknown number of units have been wiped and seem to have been for up to the last month and ongoing.…

Looks like a lot of Premiums don't connect including mine, and no matter what I do nothing changes that. Do you read any of the comments on the youtube videos you fob us off with? Go and do it now, I just did. If not you should because it reflects the fact that everything Tom Tom posts is stalling and smoke and mirrors,…

Mine has been out for a month of 10 weeks and all you will get here is that it is you and not the unit. It isn't you, they sell defective units or have network problems that you have no control over. No help from support and I am seeking a refund through my credit card. If you can send it back to the retailer do it and be…

Don't expect much from webchat other than cut and paste stalling. I have a defective in warranty Go and they will do nothing about it and it is now with my credit card to deal with them. If it is on a credit card and you can't get any joy raise a dispute with your bank within 60 days and they will follow it up. If it is…

It is August 2021, the virus has been around for at least 18 months+ and your company has been unable to set up viable customer service alternatives outside of an appalling and ineffective webchat? Maybe your senior management should be looking at themselves and considering career changes? Or maybe they are on an economy…
-
They are incompetent clowns that can't even code their own website correctly? And it is an insult to the user to keep being asked how appalling their customer service is when it is so bad they hide to avoid dealing with us.
-
Because a lot of large companies have taken the virus as an excuse to massively scale down customer service to avoid having to deal with any problems. Tom Tom is a perfect example of the worst I have come across in the past 18 months, they have taken the decision to completely withdraw any direct customer support other…

I have been doing that for the past 2 weeks - none, disconnected. I have also factory reset it numerous times. Less than 7 weeks of use, 2 of them with no services and in one of the major urban areas of the world. I have raised the dispute with Mastercard, Tom Tom have 60 days to sort it, I am not being left with a £270…

Tom Tom are refusing to engage with me and fobbing me off with 'a technical fix'. Being as I have not been asked to do something it either means they need to send something to the unit or it is internal. Whichever, it is memorably appalling and I won't forget. I have used their devices for 15 years with a few issues but…

I haven't had traffic on my Go Premium X for around 2 weeks and it is only 7 weeks old. I thought it was something to do with their network and waited but I had enough last week and opened a case on Friday. And since then got no help other than 'it has been escalated for a technical fix.' The chat support is appalling and…

It does seem to be working again, but mine is showing the transmitter icon continuously so something is still wrong.
-
Not working again.

Seems to be back in the UK for the moment, trouble is there is currently no traffic and I can't go anywhere anyway. It seems to be roadworks and closed roads, which is better than the nothing I was getting.
-
Same problem here, but it was before I updated it yesterday evening to 'fix' the traffic problem, so it was happening BEFORE I updated it for a very long time. No traffic on a 2 hour round trip, mydrive dropping ina nd out of being logged in.
-
I have had this problem for 2 days, reset and updated everything and it seemed to be working last night. This morning all I get is dropping in and out and can't get traffic at all. Tried contacting TomTom UK but they say their offices are closed. I take it this is a TomTom services problem, which it would be nice if we…
