yeah thanks, I think my issue with the phone & gps unit connection was the "bluetooth tethering", I only had bluetooth and mobile hotspot enabled. But with bluetooth tethering enabled, I think it might auto work without needing to manually turn on the mobile hotspot option in addition...…

yeah ok thanks, is a hassle to change those phone settings each time in/out of the car.
