Further information: I have successfully downloaded and installed maps of Eswatini (Swaziland), Namibia, and west South Africa, but not east South Africa. I live in east South Africa. I can set a route in any of the downloaded maps. I guess that there is a problem on the TomTom side relating to east South Africa.
I reset the app. I can log in, my subscription shows it has been renewed, "My Places" are all there. When I try to set a rout, it tells me "no route possible" at the top of the screen. The Bluetooth is on, I re-scanned. Other devices are connected (and tested)
It answered my question, but not the answer I wanted. After all these years I have been using TomTom Go on two devices, and suddenly no more. I don't suppose I can transfer from my Android Tablet to my iPhone? I am not happy
