You must be asleep if you aren't seeing the number of posts regarding this issue. I have had a 400 die because of water inside and now a 550 which also fogs up at times. I expect it will die too eventually. This has been know by TomTom for years yet the problem remains in the newer models.

Sounds like condenastion. They all do it, they aren't very well sealed

They are not a waterproof as we would like. I had a Rider 400 that died (drowned) on a very wet ride back in March 2020. I replaced it with a new 550, it too fogs up occasionally. I expect it too will eventually die from excessive moisture

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately nothing works in removing voices. If I want to remove a map, no problem. Try and remove a foreign voice and it will not happen. Same thing for my partner. Her TomTom connected to a different computer also fails to remove any voices. She however remove a couple of maps we will never…

What I can add to this is the problem is still there in the 550. My 400 drowned back in March 2020. On a very wet ride the screen was very foggy, but still readable. Hi, I've called in here to see how to get rid of some foreign language voices that keep coming up on my Rider 550. If I go through the process of downloading them and then using Mydrive to remove them will they not then come up as an update again?
