Can not update Start 20. Any suggestions?

I have an older Start 20 with lifetime updates. I am having no success updating the maps - apparently because it has not been updated within 36 months. Can you help?

    Welcome to the community!
    The map updates service is active on your account. I think there is not enough space to install the full Europe map to the internal memory.

    Try using a branded class 10 (16 GB) memory card to expand the memory.
