New Expert but no traffic or speed camera subscription activated?

So I purchased my new go expert the other week from Argos, and in the description on there website it says;
These however have not been activated on my device, it connects to wifi in the house and have connected it to my phone, although connecting it to my phone doesn't seem to do a lot apart from share my internet connection currently.
Elsewhere I have seen some people say it takes 48 hours for these services to take effect, but it's now been over a week.
As above, it says to check the instruction manual for details but all I got in my box was essentially an overview and quickstart guide.
I may have missed something but am hoping you can help.

My team has fixed the services for your TomTom, please do a soft reset and check for updates.
