TOMTOM GO 600 locked, no connection to computer?

hi my Tom Tom 600 is showing a connection to a computer and the tom tom screen showing an exclamation mark? I have tried to update it through Mydrive but it's just looping like its not connected to the PC, I have tried 3 different cables to connect, help much appreciated thank you

It is your Go software that is not installed correctly.

hi, Im still having problems, Ive now tried 5 different cables even the original and it will not connect to my computer, I haver tried every usb slot? help apperciated thanks0

Welcome to the site....
It looks like Recovery Mode has initialized on your device.....
When in Recovery Mode... The device MUST be capable showing as CONNECTED using MyDrive Connect + Connected over a USB Cable to your PC for the Recovery process to complete....

Once Recovery Mode is initiated, and a connection to MDC is NOT established... Recovery Mode will continue to attempt to connect to MDC until the Server eventually times-out
Any attempts at a Restart... The device, will continue to display a Splash screen with Image of a PC and a Red Cross or a Screen displaying a Spinning disc, until Recovery mode can establish a connection to MyDrive Connect or the Server eventually times-out

update, I have now deleted everything on my Pc Mydrive, drivers etc, reconnected eveything and TomTom still does not connect on the Genuine cable? I have also tryed to connect on a laptop and still no success? Sometimes though it goes through the recovery process to 100% then fails saying as attached? any ideas as its now doing my head in thanks0

Doesn't the problem come from the GPS socket?
try wiggling the cable plug.0 -
Hi tried everything it gets to 100% restore then it says disconnected? This must be an issue with software or servers or something? thanks0

Maybe your antivirus or your firewall is blocking the connection with the servers?0
