Hi my truck 6200 says that dartford tunnel is a car route only and will not direct me that way also I am finding it’s listing lots of roads as weight restrictions when they are not , I’m also getting diverted for no reason . I have reset it twice and still the same problem
To be honest I’ve had nothing but trouble with this tomtom truck my old one never had any problems

1080.11163 it has now made m25 from
Clacket lane to m20 exit a car only route1 -
I notice that TomTom have nothing to say again this company has really gone down hill0

I now have the same issue since update installed this week. Travelling from M23 to M25 East I am directed off onto the A22 / A25. Blue dots show on M25 past clacket lane services.
On a positive note the unnecessary diversion after the Dartford tunnel has now been rectified.0 -
No my route after claketts is shown in pink comes up car route only1

Yep same here just updated new software version on 6250 and it will not send me through Dartford Tunnel. Its beginning to get beyong a joke with this. How can it get so bad on a main crossing?1

The dartford tunnel route a228 Canterbury way is a car only route from 1b right through to the tunnel1

Settings set to avoiding ‘none’, ‘fastest route’ and software ‘is up to date’.
I’ve spoke to TomTom about this back in early December and been told it would be fixed in a month but still no joy???0 -
Kindly report in Mapshare, https://www.tomtom.com/mapshare/tools/new/mapshare/#loc=49.10412,-123.85924,19.5 thank you0

Hi, as anybody solved the issue with the Dartford tunnel and part of the M25 by Clacket Lane Services. It becoming an absolute joke, infact Tomtom support as become one as well. Also if your reading this Support, the Bridge between Buxton and Stockport on the A6 (think New Mills) is not 11ft, there is no height restriction my satnav takes you one hell of a detour to avoid. It never used to do this.0

Hi I too have a problem navigating my go pro 6250 through the tunnels from Kent into Essex and I can only update cameras ,nothing else comes up to update. Can you help0

Good old Tom Tom. This has been going on since three updates ago.
The update after Christmas is the worst, the clackett lane problem appeared, also a problem on the north circular by Bowes corner is showing cars only.
As for the tunnel, that problem is six months old now.
I have emailed them and shock horror got a reply saying all will be sorted with the next update, this was October last year and the update made it worse.
Looking to move to Garmin dezl lorry nav as support for Tom Tom is beyond a joke.0 -
@Lighty100
Users all over the UK have been reporting various incorrect restrictions and diversions on the Trucker and Camper devices for some time now; however following the latest map update on my Go Expert; where the NDS maps are updated weekly/monthly, TomTom has finally corrected / changed ‘some’ of those restrictions / diversions.
Also, my Go Camper routes me on crazy, circular or illogical routes which “partially” seems to be linked to the weight/width/height restrictions of “adjoining roads” on a route. On the map when zoomed right in you can see the ends of the limits on these adjoining roads, “overlap” onto the main road, thus often causing the device to avoid the main road due to these ‘phantom restrictions’ and often consequently send me round in circles!!!
With regard to the Bowes Road area of the A406 North Circular, there are various roads “adjoining” which do have Weight limit restrictions, and the most likely scenario is that the TomTom Mapping Vehicle camera has incorrectly read a weight limit sign i.e. the 7.5 Tonne limit signs shown below which are for the adjoining roads but could be easily seen by a "vehicle camera" driving along the A406 and have been applied 'incorrectly' to the A406 or even the advance warning of a 7.5 tonne limit ahead or to the right (see last screen shot) …………….
For our devices that rely on the “Classic Maps”, we will have to wait for the quarterly map date scheduled for late February to see if a similar correction to the NDS maps will be made…….. I am not holding my breath.
As these restriction errors are so widespread across the whole of the UK correcting them individually by reporting on Mapshare could take forever. As my Vehicle Settings may not discover “restrictions” that other users will see, restrictions being totally dependent on the Vehicle Settings.
As far as I am aware there is no way for a PND user to see on a map “all restrictions”, be they linked to weight/width/height?
Based on this; the restriction issue should be tackled, by a dedicated TomTom team who ought to be able to see all restrictions on a map and effect a rapid cure; as left to individual users to report them as discovered, via Mapshare, I can envisage this "phantom" restriction issue running for several years………..
I have highlighted this to the forum moderators several times ( @VikramK ) to ask if an internal ticket could be raised; on behalf of the many users (Camper and Trucker devices) who have reported similar issues without success, with the appropriate team for resolution.

Lost_Soul. Completely agree with the idea of a dedicated team to sort this out once and for all. It makes people feel that they are being taken for a ride that this has been reported by so many and that there seems to be very little done about it. Seems like all complaints are falling on deaf ears.0

I have an update regarding the routing via Dartford Tunnels.
There is a maximum truck length restriction of 1874cm before the Dartford tunnels according to the reality.
If we set the truck’s length profile to 10m or 1873cm, the route can be planned through Dartford tunnels successfully.
So it is expected that it would not route the Dartford tunnels if the vehicle’s profile for Length of 18.75 meters and above.
Thanks,

Hi @VikramK
All vehicles over 5m tall, 2.75 metres wide, !8.74 metres long or if carrying hazardous material must exit the road before the tunnel for inspection and if acceptable Escorted through the Tunnel. Failure to do so will result in a fine. All vehicles within those figures are permitted.
Once vehicles are inspected then if okay to travel through the tunnel they are given an escort based on the charges on the following webpage.
https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/603736/Dartford_Tunnels_Advice_for_goods_vehicles_and_abnormal_loads.pdf.
So you can see from the Abnormal Load charges that vehicles much longer than 18.74m , wider than 2.74m and weighing greater than 150,000kg can use the tunnel.
