Rider 550 keeps on booting over and over after low battery

Hi!
We didn‘t use our rider 550 for about 4 month and the battery is now absolutely low.
When we connect it to a charger, it tries to boot but shuts down again after 2 seconds, keeps dark for another 2 seconds and the repeats.
I think the Boot process costs so much power that it can‘t finish and shuts down due to low battery. And the the circle starts over again…

Anybody any idea how to get out of this infinite loop?

    GPS off, charge the GPS with an electric phone charger for 2 hours.

    Hi Willy,

    Thank you for the answer. But even it the whole night on the charger did not solve the problem.
    The solution was to put it in the docking station on the bike, Then the battery is skipped and the system can boot.
    The loading runs then in parallel. After 3 hours the Rider was approx. 70% charged.
