Hi all, I have both a GO 5000 and GO 6000 but after taking delivery of a new Mac laptop – which only has USB C – I can't get the devices to connect to TomTom MyDrive Connect. I have a genuine Apple USB A to C adapter, plus a USB C to micro USB cable, and neither allow me to connect to TomTom MyDrive Connect. The screen on the device brightens as if it is charging but that's it. I have deleted the the two folders in the Library folder in Users and restarted the Mac but I still can't get the devices to connect to TomTom MyDrive Connect to update them... Any solutions or help greatly appreciated!

Bought and tried: zero joy on my new M1 Macbook Pro. Furthermore on Twitter TomTom replied to my tweet saying their devices will not work with cables or adapters via USB-C:
"I would like to inform you that TomTom devices do not support the USB-C connector and the update will not work if you use any adapter. In this case, I would request you to please use an alternate computer to update your device. I have forwarded this as feedback to our concerned team for further consideration."0
