My sd-card is write-preotected

I want to update my sd-card, but TomTom home says it is write-protected. I have unlocked it, but I still get the failure. Anyone else who got the same problem and found a solution?

    Can I save the maps on my laptop? The sd-card I have, is the one TomTom sent me.

    Have you checked that when inserting the SD the latch does not move to the locked position.

    The latch stayes in unlocked position.
