missing drivers and firewall sales

Hi, has anyone been contacted by Support while updating their device and sold a firewall because their
laptop has been accessed and had drivers turned off preventing their tomtom from updating

    I hope you haven't made any payment ???
    If you have, I would think you have been scammed....
    I would say you were on a Scam lookalike Tomtom website right from the very start....
    The Scam websites are visually very professional and are remarkably convincing....
    The Phone call or Chat line is where you get first get suckered in... then the Support Service person (Scammer) rings you to completes the Scam....
