Routes and Updates

The amount of times I have gone out for a ride and had to leave my Rider 500 behind as it was updating so slow is ridiculous. Get home after a full days ride to find it on 20%. what a waste of time.
No it's not my internet speed.
Now all of a sudden my routes have disappeared off the device.
They show on the My Drive app on my phone as well as the PC version but although they were created on the device itself, somehow they've disappeared.
I re sync each on, as you can't seem to do it in a group, and when I restart the device....gone again.

Can someone please give me some advice.

    try use mydrive connect for update
    for routes do reset factory
