How do I add voices to my new GO Premium X?

Support has ceased on my old device so I've just invested in the Go Premium X. On my old device I had the voices of Stephen Fry & Roger Moore. My last purchase was just short of 7 years ago, so I got full value for my £7.95. Is there a way of buying these for my new device, or adding other actors' voices

    Hopefully @VikramK will pick this up tomorrow and if they are compatible add the voices to your account so you can add them to the Premium.

    Voices have been reactivated. Please check for updates when the device is connected to a WiFi internet connection.

    Doug & Vikram, I can't begin to imagine what dark arts were employed for you to do this for me ! I'm just very grateful & happy to have my old navigators back. Thank you so much !!

    Hi I received my new TomTom Go Premium X yesterday and very pleased with it.
    However I beleived that it would be possible to use my Go Live voice of Billy Connely..
    How do I find it?

    If the voice is compatible with the new unit then hopefully @VikramK can add it to your account so you can add it to the Unit. Look back here later.

    I used the John Otway voice on my old first series TomTom and still have the file saved on my computer. I don’t see any way of adding it to my brand new TomTom GO Premium. Is it possible as I quite enjoy John telling me that I’ve gone the wrong way and telling me to turn around and go back! 😁

    Adding custom voices on the GO PREMIUM, unfortunately, is not supported.
    If you wish I can activate some computer voices for your TomTom..

    Hi Vikram,
    That’s disappointing, wish I’d known that before purchasing. Would probably not have bought if I knew.

    I've just upgraded to a GO Premium X and would love to get the soothing tones of Stephen Fry back. Is this possible?

    As of 22-7-21, (taken from the section GO Discover & GO Expert -
    “Bought new device not able to find voices”)
    Moderator VikramK has informed that:

    “Just like maps and LIVE services, voices are non-transferable.
    As an exception, we used to activate them on the account for our users who bought a new device.
    Recently a decision was taken to discontinue all paid/celebrity voices, unfortunately, we won't be able to re-assign them on the account. Sorry.”
