somebody broke into my car no damage and nothing taken but my Carminat sat not working

have tried putting memory card in card reader and inserted into USB on my laptop have installed my drive connect onto sd card it looks like damage was done to navigation
Any ideas please as I am not good with computors

Not sure but don't the Carminat units need TomTom HOME on your PC to be able to see card and manage maps etc . Also you say you loaded My Drive Connect on the SD card that card is for maps the MDC software is for use on a PC..
