    The option to select your vehicle type has disappeared, has anyone else found this? What is the solution to chose car & caravan?

    This is because you should not have the Europe camping map installed on your GPS.

    Welcome to the site....
    You have probably installed the standard Europe Car map instead of updating your Camper Map ??? Check your Active Map, see if it has 'Camper' in the title....
