Should I be able to see both the TomTom and associated Micro SD Card in Finder on a Mac when my TomTom 550 is connected to my MacBook?
I have a successful connection between the MacBook and the TomTom via the USB cable provided as the screen on the TomTom has changed to show the cabled connection in place.
However, I thought that I should be able to see the actual physical drives on the Mac, but nothing appears. I have looked in Disk Utility and nothing appears.
I understood that this was a method of transferring data from one drive to another, but I can't seem to see either on the Mac.

macOS doesn’t support the MTP protocol so you need https://www.android.com/filetransfer/2

Hi @chickenlegs
The RIDER 550 comes with a secured memory, so you can't access the content and storage on the device.
All the updates are performed over the Wi-Fi, but you can use MyDrive Connect as an alternative for stable and fast Internet connection.

Thank you for responding.
Why then does the 550 indicate otherwise on its screen and how do I move or copy data from and to the SD card and internal memory as I can't see a way to do this via MyDrive Connect?0 -

Thank you for your reply.
It's a pity that the instructions don't make this clear.0
