carminat does not initialises sd card for update

hello. 2011 Renault scenic with built in tom-tom. i have done all suggested ticks on the forum including formatting of card etc but have nothing on the sat nav screen except image to insert sd card, then a timer clock, then remove sd card. the card is not being recognized by tom tom home so unable to update. any suggestions please?

    Welcome to the community! The initialization process not working could be a device specific issue.
    My advice would be to report this to the car dealer.
