if I have life time maps do I still have to buy one? it says I do not have a map

Is this a brand new unit that you have just started or have you been doing an update on it and lost the map.
You have the World Maps with that unit so you do not need to buy any maps as all the Maps in Add a Map are free..

By the way I recommend that you have at least 2 maps loaded on the unit and so when you do any updates , which you should do one at a time, then if you have an issue whilst doing an update and lose the map concerned the you can run the unit normally and restore the lost map vis Add a Map.

Guess that is my problem did not down load any maps and was doing all 4 updates at a time. Am I screwed now ?0

on video When I hit add a map it says available space
