Bluetooth doesn't connect anymore
Hi,
My Rider 400 doesn't connect to BT anymore.
Worked okay untill last fall. Parked the motorcycle for the winter, updated the TT somewhere in october or november I guess.
Now with the new season arriving, took the TT out again only to discover it doesn't connect to my phone anymore with BT.
It shows up on the phone, it wants to connect only to get the error "unable to connect".
Already deleted the TT in the phone's BT history and reconnect again, no luck!
Tried several phones, phones have the latest updates, so does the TT.
Help is required please!!!!

Hello, thank you for your answer.
Tried a "drum reset", no joy.
Did a factory reset, hooray, BT connection functioning again.
Then updated the TT via the PC. After that, BT not able to connect anymore.
So no luck so far unfortunately.

Okay I have figured it out.
It seems that since a recent update, the Rider won't connect via bluetooth if the option "bluetooth tethering" is turned off on the phone.
ONLY if the option is turned on, the bluetooth connection establishes.
This was not the case before. One could establish a BT connection without having BT tethering activated (of course you wouldn't have connection to the services).
Now that I know this, it isn't a problem. I just have to remember to enable BT tethering before firing up the TT instead of the other way around.
So I'm happy again with my beloved TT Rider.0 -
The App Blue Car Tethering does this "enable BT tethering" for you when the Rider is in range.

Thanks, I'll certainly give it a try.0
