I keep seeing a error message Popup on my mobile android phone....’route profile not valid for vehicle’ or words like that

Can you post a screenshot of the message pop-up you're getting? Also, it would be helpful if you can mention the App version, phone model, and Android version.

I’d love to post a pic...however I’d be driving and it only appears for a few secs...
App version is 2.3.6

Were you in a closed street at the time you saw the message.2 -
No not a closed street....but the app gave me a divert for some traffic which I ignored...that’s when message popped up and didn’t re route for a good 5 mins0

Does this happen frequently? Can you provide us the exact location where this message appeared? If you can provide a start and endpoint of the route on which this happened would be great to reproduce it on our end.
