Screen lines on Spark 3

Yesterday at the end of a walk my Spark 3 displayed an battery symbol on the screen with a line through it. Since then the screen has gone blank. Have connected it to charge but computer does not make usual sound on connection. After "charging" over night no difference. Pressing down button to reset the device brings up the clasped hands symbol (so there is charge) but nothing further happens and symbol disappears. No reaction from any other button or combination of pressings. Any suggestions or is it dead?

    Welcome to the Community! Is the watch recognized by Sports Connect software? If yes, please make a factory reset on your watch. If it doesn't fix it, it's probably the display of the watch gone bad.

    Oh yes, have checked the contacts on the connection lead and they are all fine as have that problem in the past..

    Thanks for the response. At the time watch was not recognised by the Connect software but after pushing the selector button in all directions forcibly (!!!) it seems to have come back to life after 3 days of lying dormant. Hopefully will continue to work.

    Hace días que mi Reloj le aparecieron rallas horizontales a veces pocas y a veces tantas que no se puede visualizar nada en la pantalla.
    Ya lo restableci de fábrica varias veces y el error sigue

    It sounds like a dead display and if a factory reset did not fix it, it is likely dead. You can try to let the battery totally drain out and then recharge and see if that does anything, but it is unlikely. Since TT does not offer a repair service and that product was discontinued years ago (TT Sports went out of business over 3 years ago) it may be time for a new watch. There are plenty of brands out there with better feature sets for less money these days.
