Why is Tomtom customer support so much rubbish?

Why is TomTom customer support so much rubbish? I have spent a lot of money with TomTom over the years and cannot get any information from them regarding my latest order for a Discover 7". They used to be contacted able by phone now it is that totally useless bot! Come on TomTom you are letting us all down.

    Customer Service is useless - requested cancellation of an order which was still being processes via live help at 10.44 this morning and was assured this could be done and I would get an email confirming cancellation. Got a shipping tracking number at 11.33 so back on live help but they couldn't help as I wasn't speakinmg to the same person. Heard nothing so tried phoning a 16.30 but they don't provide a phone service - now (19.20) had an email from USPS saying they have parcel and will deliver on 22nd Feb. What a useless lot - they are only going to get the parcel straight back! Cancellation is only because they offered me new sat nav at one price then reminded - clicked through via reminder email but after placing order discovered the reminder didn't relate to the same offer and I was paying £40 more than original offer
