White screen on VIA 52

The screen on my VIA 52 is all white. I can hear the drum sound when I hold the power button on attempting to reset but nothing happens on the screen. I've updated everything I can find to update through MyDrive Connect but still have a totally white screen.

Thanks rider1rider, only trouble is when I can't see anything on the screen there's no way of knowing if the white writing on black screen is up or if I've got the 1-2-3 right. I'll keep trying, especially from step 6. It just sounds like from behind the white screen most other things are working, I even had voice instructions the other day when it first went white.0
