Why do I get 3 to 4 GPSfix updates every week?

WHY DO I GET 3 TO4 QUICK FIX EVERY WEEK, THEY ARE 60 OR 70 K BITES EACH

    welcome to the site
    As far as I recall... The latest QuickFixGPS file is issued daily but the contents of the file are good for the next 7 days.... I usually update the QuickFixGPS file weekly
    Note... The Live devices also update the QuickFixGPS file over the air but the contents of the file are good for the next 4 days....
