Hi
@johnosborne
Have you tried a Soft/Drum roll restart on the device ??? This restarts the devices Operating System afresh
RESETTING YOUR NAVIGATION DEVICE
https://help.tomtom.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360013957499-Resetting-your-navigation-device
Charge the device for at least 2Hrs….
(Preferably using something like a Smartphone Charger using the Tomtom USB lead)
OR have the device plugged into a power supply while the device is restarting
Press and hold the on/off button until you hear a drum-roll sound then release the on/off button.
You won’t lose anything; it’s just like rebooting your PC
I use a Soft/drum-roll start after any upgrade large or small.
It’s also useful to keep in mind for sorting out most minor niggles....

For general improvement using the Tomtom Speed Cam Database over the default settings....
Always use a Computer voice...
Serena or Malcolm for me in the UK
Also....
From the main screen... Tap (.... Menu) -> Setting -> Sounds & Warnings...
Set... 'Warning Type' to... Read Allowed... (Important... Needs a Computer Voice set in the Voices menu)
Speed Cameras & Hazards... Set to ON
The next 10 Setting ALL set to Always
The next 4 Settings ALL set to ON
Now as well as the normal triple 'bong bong bong' warning sound....
The device will say....
'Fixed Camera'
'Mobile Hot Spot'
'Red-light Camera'
'Accident Black-spots
‘Spoken Traffic delays’

Hi @johnosborne
Hopefully @VikramK or @lampard will pick this up. Look back later to see what they have to say.

Hi @johnosborne
Welcome to the community! I had a quick look at your account, just wanted to confirm the GO WiFi 520 has lifetime speed camera services. I also see another device Start 25 which does not have an active subscription(speed cameras) and perhaps the renewal you mentioned above is offered for this one?
Thanks, Vikram1 -
Thanks for your help the old Start 25 is long gone. Its the go 520 that has lost its speed cameras
Thanks

Hi @johnosborne
If you go to About in Settings/System what does it say against Traffic/ Cameras.
When you say the GO520 has lost Cameras what do you mean. Are hey no being displayed or are you not being advised of them by Sound or verbally.

Sorry for delay with this reply In settings/system \about it shows Traffic and Danger zone updates both as activated . I am sure the last time I did an update I lost the Traffic Camera update as it took such a long time . The map display does not give any Traffic camera details and I no longer get any warnings The are all set to work in the settings
Very many thanks, its a joy to get such great support. I have always used a TomTom in place of the satnav supplied with my cars and have always advised anybody looking to buy a TomTom

Hi @johnosborne
When you Tap Menu there is a speaker Icon at the left hand end of the Volume bar and a Voice icon at the right hand end. If these have a line through them then Tap the icons to remove the Line and so restore the Speakers or Directional instructions.

Speakers and directional instructions work ok Its just I have no Camera info loaded and am unable to find a way to reload when I log on
Thanks1 -
