Planning fastest route often takes me off A road and onto a B road then back onto same A road to save 30 seconds. Would using plan eco-friendly route avoid this?

    Hi @Sherra.

    Not sure as this eco-friendly route will depend of the distance / speedlimits etc...

    If you chouse the fastest the device will try to find the fastest way (even if it's juste 30 seconds faster).

    If you choose the shortest the device will calculate the route with the less distance.

    so there is no real option, in this case for you.

    Thanks Jim I am aware of fastest route calculations but haven't used eco so was curios as to how it calculated route.

    Maybe it will solve your "issue" for a specific route, but not for another. :-)
