To add to @YamFazMan''s post the Professional units only come with a Truck maps but as he says you can set the unit to route based on the vehicle being a car. If you wish to add a car map you will have to pay for it and eventually pay for map updates.

The units work well with the Truck map and the vehicle set to car.
