I AM VERY FRUSTRATED, i CANNOT GET AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTION.
LET ALONE TALK OR GET A REPLY????
YOU TAKE MY MONIES TO BUY A NEW DEVICE GO 620 BUT WHEN I TRY TO GET ADVICE YOUR SYSTEMS ARE NOT HELPING ME? WHAT AM i DOING WRONG?
PLEASE EMAIL ME [email protected]
Mod edit: Please don't post private or personal information on a public forum. Thanks!
If you use the device on a regular basis... The normal device powering off with the ignition will be OK
If your car's power socket is always live... Then a short push of the Power Button will give the same results as ignition off...
If you are NOT using the device for an extended period of time...
A long press of the power button (Press & Hold the power button for + 2 seconds)... The device will display the menu screen with two options....
(1)... Turn Off... Really turn the device 'OFF'
(2)... Sleep (The same as a short push of the power button)....
Obviously when the device is NOT in use The device shouldn't be left on the Mount especially if the cars power socket is always ON/Live....
Also, when the device is in the Mount its in full view of potential Car Thieves....

If you have an Apple or similar smartphone the mains charger plug that accepts an USB cable is the way to go.
