definately a battery failure.
can I get the battery replaced ? what will that cost. I'm in New Zealand.

In the UK you can go on to Youtube and input GO6200 Battery replacement and view videos showing how to do it. If you fancy a go, at your own risk, then the next step is Ebay, Amazon etc for the battery and also the small tool kits to help complete the task. I assume that is an option for you otherwise you need to contact Tomtom Customer support or any other business you can find that does repairs. TT do not have a Phone line service but Chat/Email.
