Can't connect to traffic service on GO 6250

I have a 6250. The live traffic column on the left shows arrival time and fuel stations, On my device the left hand column doesn't show any delays or alternative routes. I have gone through the menus to try and sort it but I get a message saying can't connect please try later. been trying for two months
