How to charge Rider 550 in the office?

im trying to use my 550 in my office to get used to all the features but my battery has run out of charge how do i charge it from my laptop

    Hi @mike_69

    The problem with charging from your PC is that the power supply from the USB socket is low and does not provide enough to run the unit and charge up at the same time. Over time the unit will run out of power.

    If you have an Apple IPhone or similar that has a 3pin charger plug that takes a USB cable then I would use that as it will provide plenty of power so will keep the unit charged whilst you play with it

    @mike_69 Welcome to the site....
    Further to Doug's post....
    As Doug says If possible use a Mains USB Charger....
    If your Laptop is NOT connected to the mains... The setting on the laptop for the USB port will give the priority to maintain the charge in the Laptop battery and cut the power to the USB port....
