My Live Services has expired and Support has advised that as my device was not updated every six months I need to buy a new 3 year subscription at £119. My understanding is, that devices are supported until "end of life" or until not updated for 36 months. Can anyone advise if this is correct and that the renewal fee quoted is correct. Thanks

    You have clearly connected to a Scam Tomtom website.

    This is the Tomtom website where you can order live servcices.

    If you can provide details of where you contacted then Tomtom can seek to sort the problem out.

    Unfortunately not as simple as that. It was TOMTom online support on the website that gave me that info. additionally, I have to say that for the first time ever I was not impressed with the attitude or communicaton skills of the support either, quite rude! The support did not give clear advice and made assumptions without asking for details.

    I purchased Live Services on the Tomtom website at £23.99 and have been told it's not applicable to my device and can't seem to get a straight answer from the online support as to what to do next.

    Be aware....
    If you are searching around looking for Maps Live services etc...
    Recently several very plausible and very professional looking SCAM Tomtom websites have appeared...

    Due to COVID-19 the Tomtom phone service has been suspended....
    So if you have spoken to someone on the phone it wasn't Tomtom Support....

    I see you have a GO 1005. Some of these have been declared Obsolete. Can you indicate the first 2 letters of the serial number. Please don't give the whole number here.
