Need Help - No Voice!

Hi.
I have a Start 50 but have a problem in that it doesn't talk to me to give me the directions. It did when I first bought it, but has just stopped! I have the voice commands on, but the only voices it offers are 2 in German, and no UK voices. Can anyone help? I have tried TomTom My Drive for updates etc, but there is nothing except voices you have to pay for.

If you Tap menu have you checked whether the Speaker Icon Left end of the Volume bar and or the Voice Icon Righthand end have a line through them. If they have Tap them to remove the line.
