My GO 5000 does not start up at all

in Devices using MyDrive Connect
I hear the drums, see the TomTom logo but nothing else happens,. no moving bar etc. I tried the factory reset whilst pressing the button very often but no success, any possibility to perform another reset ?

    Welcome to the site....
    Have you installed a Micro SDHC Memory Card in to your GO 5000 for your Maps... If 'Yes' Try Starting the GO 5000 without the Memory Card....

    no, no SD card installed, the "no start anymore" happened after updating the device but as long as the device is not starting up MyDriveConnect will not recognized it either :-(

    My device is doing the same after latest update. Took out SD and reloaded map still not working and cannot get setting up to do reset.

    so far no solution, device is showing the TomTom-logo when switched on and it is possible to hear the sound but after that nothing happens no matter how often you switch on and off :-(
