I am thinking of giving up on Tom Tom - at least in Australia. I have a Go600 with lifetime Europe maps. I bought the Australia maps and since we are doing more Australian travel due to Covid (Qld is quite big!) paid for 6 x updates in mid July. I have been totally unable to download any updates no matter what time of day or night I try. No telephone support amd online chat automatically diverted me to what seems like a scam site "GPS Support" which required a credit card. Has TT just given up on the Australian market? Will I be able to update my Europe maps when we can eventually travel again?
Re... problems with MyDrive Connect...
Firstly Try....
Disconnect your GO 5000 (Do not Reconnect your device until instructed)
Logout of MyDrive Connect....
From the Power menu 'Restart' your PC (NOT Turn it Off 'n' On again)....
Run MyDrive Connect & Login... Connect & Start your GO 5000....

If you are still having problems with MyDrive Connect... I find deleting the "HOME3" and the "MyDrive Connect" folders in the MyDrive Connect Program will usually bring MyDrive Connect back to life...
