the changes you make on mapshare also go on via Michelin TomTom? and after how long?

Michelin sounds like a B2B customer of TomTom MapShare Reporter. So they should get updates similar as we are getting through our standard MSR portal.
It's important to consider the map update cycle; for consumer products, map updates are rolled out on a quarterly basis(4 new maps in 1 year)
