Go 6000 will not connect to My Drive app on my Macbook pro

I have updated the My-drive software and reinstalled the software several times now spent several hours trying with no results . The device is working fine and the My-Drive software appears to be functioning fine in terms of logging in and seeing that i have some updates to do . but it absolutely will not see the device. this has never occurred before. Therefore it can only be a bug in the software. can anyone help please.
