Way to go TomTom, pushing an unwanted subscription on my account...
I already have an active year subscription, till somewhere half 2021, for speed camera's and you still activate illegally an unwanted monthly subscription (2.99).
This is ridiculous and unacceptable!! Even more crazy is that I noticed it because I received an alert from my bank that you setup a direct debit on my bank account without me even authorizing that! No email from you, nothing.
I will fill in an official complaint about TomTom at my bank.

Did same with me - got a 6 month one on 6th January (longest I could get) and have the receipt showing it's a one off payment of £14.99, and on 2nd March I got an email saying they were going to take £2.99 a month unless I objected within 26 days. Ignored it as I assumed it was an error as that's clearly illegal and I had an active subscription that had 4 months to run. Also I had cancelled my card by then for other reasons, so wasn't concerned as they had no way to take any money.
End of March comes and I get an email complaining the payment has failed....and every month after that again and again, along with emails saying my "cart had been left running". Now I see they've restored the ability to get 12 month one off subscriptions again, although a lot more than I used to pay, and it's saying my "payment has failed". Totally taking the mick at the minute0
