Firstly Tap Menu/Settings/System/ Your Information and Privacy ( at the bottom ) and ensure the first option is Selected.otherwise Traffic etc will not work.
If that does not sort it then a Factory Reset. Before you do that go too the My Drive Website and log into your account and make sure you My Places, and any POI and Route files you have on the unit are saved there. If that is okay then
Tap menu
Tap Settings
Tap System
Tap Reset Device.
If it is still not sorted then contact customer Support.
