hello everyone, I have 3 identical tomtom 7250 pro, one has been updated with the map 10.50, the other two do not go further, remain with the truck map 981.

Welcome to the Community I only see GO 6000 and other NAV3 devices connected to the mail address you used to log in here. Please send me the serial number of the device via private message and I can check if I can help you.

I checked the serial numbers for your PRO 7250 and I think you can follow the steps in the link here to update the map on your SD card with a video tutorial.

If I am correct the Pro 7250 is only supported by telematics.

Only the Pro5150 was sold from Tomtom.
Other devices, such as PRO 7150/7100/9100/9150, PRO 5250/7250, PRO 5350/7350, PRO 8270/8275 and TomTom Bridge were only sold by Telematics2 -

Then you need @lampard or @VikramK to come on here and look at the settings for you units on the TT servers. When they come on they will ask you to message the serial numbers of the units concerned.
Do Not put the serial numbers on here.

If you have a Truck unit that does not give you an option to input or change already input vehicle dimensions it is almost inevitable that the wrong map is on it.ie a Car Map not a Truck Map..
If you go into Maps and look to see what map is selected I suspect you will find it does not mention Truck.
Change to a Truck map will sort that.
By the way the 8275 is a Webfleet unit which is not a range that is covered by this forum.

you were right, mydrive wants me to install the firmware version v15.523.c8d8f7b.0062.111 and the Europe map 1050: not truck, but it's the same firmware that the device has.
I try to proceed but does not install anything, it gives me the possibility to choose only europe 1050 non truck.
What do I have to do ?
I tried to insert the SD card, as Lampard told me, but it doesn't recognize it, it says: insert the SD card that contains the software update to continue.

Firstly as I understand it the Truck devices only come with the Truck wide map for the region of sale. There is not supposed to be any of the Tomtom WorldMaps available for download by the unit. That being the case then it would appear the only way to have a car map on it is to buy the map.
We therefore need @lampard or @VikramK to look a the Pro 8275 logs on the TT servers if they can as it is a Webfleet unit to see why it is trying to offer non truck updates.

I don't think they bought an automobile map when this one has truck life maps.
It seems impossible, but some mistakes will have made.
The problem is that it won't let me install the firmware.
Really strange and to think that it is not the only go pro 7250, a friend of mine has other identical ones.

I remind you, which I solved by updating Mydrive connect to the latest version, it allowed me to install the truck europe map 1050. Soon I will get other go pro 7250 devices with the same problem.

I bought a TomTom PRO 7250 gps from eBay and it had an old map and I said to reset it but I lost all the truck settings and it installed a car map. I thought it was just like any TomTom, thinking I was just plugging it into MyDrive and that's it.
I also tried the alternative version on the Webflet site with SD card but it only works for the normal map version for cars '' Europe 1060.10571 ''
If I try to put the truck version, I get this error:
'' No Sd card Found ''
'' Insert the SD card that contains the sftware update to continue. ''
If you want I can prove the purchase of PRO 7250 on eBay.
I think because of the update on MyDrive. I searched the TomTom forum and saw that many people had this problem especially with the PRO 7250.
Please help me to be able to use this PRO 7250 for the truck.

me too with 4 tomtom pro 7250 and a pro 7350, the same happened ...
They all downloaded the car maps and lost the truck function once they connected them to MYDRIVE ... even now MYDRIVE no longer recognizes the navcore of the 7350 ...
Now I have a big problem to solve, I find myself the car maps and the unknown navcore for the pro 7350.
I'll ask some moderator for help (@lampard)
