Tap Menu
Tap Settings
Tap System
Tap Your Information and Privacy
Is the "Use my location and the information I enter to receive Tomtom services" TURNED ON . If this is turned Off then Traffic will not work.
If that is okay then do a Factory Reset. First go to the MyDrive Website and log into your account and check that all your My Places etc are stored there. If so then:-
Tap menu
Tap Settings
Tap System
Tap Reset Device
You will need to set the unit up again as you did when you first got it. The current Operating System and Map versions will not be changed by this process.
