TomTom HOME install the maps

TomTom home works on my MacBook Catalina, but refuses to accept the carminat SD card. No map updates for me. Has anyone a solution for me? I already removed the loopdir but this also does not work. TomTom helpdesk suggests to buy a new card, but my card is only 2 months old.....

    A map has been reactivated for your TomTom. It should be offered for download in TomTom HOME.
