Why my device is not recognised by my PC?

my problem is that I cannot connect my device to my PC. It doesn't seem to "see" the device. I tried all the steps in support, but it still cannot connect my device... In my PC on page TOM TOM HOME the option "My Device" is disconnected... But my device seems that it is connected... When I try to open MyDrive Connect it appears "Page not found"...

    issue in mydriveconnect software.try selecting a different language in settings.

    The Start 52 uses MyDrive Connect to update the device....
    Welcome to the site....
    If I have a problem with myDrive Connect...
    I find deleting the "HOME3" and the "MyDrive Connect" folders in the MyDrive Connect Program just as effective for giving MyDrive Connect CPR to bring it back to life...

    I'm on a Mac but have found the two folders you mentioned (Home3 and MyDriveConnect) and deleted them. Hurrah.. that's done the trick after a couple of frustrating weeks I've updated it successfully.

    The "HOME3" and the "MyDrive Connect" folders are located here...
    MacOS: Users\Username\Library\Application Support\TomTom\
