Landscape mode

This forum is hardwired for landscape mode (wider than tall) viewing. I always have my browser windows in portrait mode (taller than wide) for the same reason that most every book you've ever read is organized that way -- long text lines are hard to read. In my browser window the "Ask a Question" button never even gets displayed.

If you feel wedded to landscape mode, then it would be considerate to at least provide a horizontal scrollbar so that the hapless luser at least has a clue that there's content hidden on the right.

    It's also obviously no problem for people who run their browser in the usual landscape mode. The point is that it is a problem for some people, and it's not hard to at least mitigate the problem for those people.
