Advice for Newbies from a Newbie and thank you

Firstly thank you to the folks who act as first responders on this site and tirelessly answer questions in a timely manner and also to the TomTom admins who get things fixed, I have found everyone very supportive.

To other newbies my advice is to look at the Welcome and Support pages before you start posting (I didn't !) be polite, provide detailed info and some feedback. Whilst I am not knowledgable enough to provide support to others I'm hoping my expereicne of the site and questions promtps discussion that may help others.
