Trouble planning a route in Europe with TomTom GO Navigation App

I’ve downloaded the maps for France and Italy as we are going by car next Saturday. However when I plan the route with the final destination it won’t give me the route. Have I missed something?

    Not knowing Start or finish could you also download all 3 European Ferry Connection files as well.

    Also if that does not work download Switzerland even if you don’t want to go that way. You can ask for alternatives.

    No success! I’ve downloaded all possible maps, but when inserting the final destination it would calculate route but not show it.

    Yes, now it has worked but only because I manually found the destination. It wouldn’t calculate route in any other way

    It gives you the option of seeing the map and tap on the road or street. It’s working fine now, so thank you for your help. I’ll be in touch again if I get stuck. Thank you

    Yesterday I planned a route from Sint-Pieters-Leeuw (Belgium) to the Netherlands, today (30/06/2020) I can not plan any route with the route planner in MyDrive Connect.Even if I plan a route to the nearest town (Halle) and for which I only have to follow the N6 I allways get the message that the route is not possible. The route I planned yesterday can not be changed neither. What's going wrong?

    Hi @Mekky

    I assume you mean you cannot plan a route in My Drive as MyDrive Connect is the software you load on your PC to manage loading Maps, Updates etc and is not used for route planning.

    I have just planned a similar route in My Drive from S-P-L to Amsterdam and it does it creating a route and says "I can save it to My Routes". So not sure why you are having a problem.

    I used My Drive Connect to plan the route like I did it on Sunday and many times before.

    I tried it later on in the evening and sometimes I could have a route of about 2 km and more often he refused to calculate a route of less than a km. I even shut down my pc and restarted several times but the problem remained.

    Five minutes ago I tried it again an suddenly there was no problem anymore.

    I will try it tomorrow once again and keep you informed.

    Hi @Mekky

    Just to say again My Drive Connect is software you load on your PC for managing the software and maps on your device there is no facility to create routes using the software.

    If you want to create routes then you use the My Drive website via your PC's browser.
